I couldn't agree more. And there are many other ways to be N*A*S*T*Y* that aren't related to the cleanliness that can be observed. It's a mindset that starts from within. By the time it can be observed from the outside, it's way, way too late.

This is so important! In his book - Tribal Knowledge - John Moore talked about how a mindset of "clean" helped Starbucks win over a multitude of customers.
